Nishijima Tatsushi, the third-generation owner of Nishijima Optical, a long-established eyeglasses store in Toranomon, Tokyo, which has been in business for over 107 years, is offering a rare opportunity to experience the lifestyle and craftsmanship throug eyeglasses of the Tokyo Tower generation.

Nishijima Tatsushi was born in 1958, the same year Tokyo Tower was completed, and grew up as part of the “Tokyo Tower generation.when he was little, his parents would often tell him, “Come home when the lights come on at Tokyo Tower.”It was part of lifestyle culture of Tranomon.

Nishijima Optical has a 107-year history and has been honing its skills for three generations. Tatsushi has been perfecting his skills in selecting and adjusting eyeglasses for his customers for nearly 40 years.
